LAKE VISTA- VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Lake Vista Recreation Center, along with GPPCA, would like to bring back Saturday night teen dances.

City employees are committed to making this happen, but there just aren’t enough of them available to adequately staff this activity.  We need two or three volunteers to help every Saturday night from 8:00 to 11:00.  If you can’t volunteer for every Saturday night, how about 1 or 2 Saturdays per month?  The dance is open to 6th thru 9th grade students who must pay a $5 admission to participate.  Concessions will also be available for sale.

In addition to the dancing, there are other planned activities available to the teens and pre-teens during the same hours. Volunteers would monitor doors and hallways and be an “adult presence”.
