There are 30.000 overhead street lights in St Petersburg. Some may be burned out. Some may incorrectly stay on 24 hrs.
The City of St Petersburg pays for these lights wheter they function or not.
Cona is requesting each Neighborhood Association patrol the street and reports outages immediately to
PROGRESS ENERGY. Let's help bring down unnecessary costs for all of us.
Here is how to report the non-working street lights:

Phone progress Energy at 1-800-228-8485

Give street address of light's location (do NOT give pole number)

Write down date and time you place your call for your records

Progress Energy has 3-5 business days to fix light with wiring above ground

Progress Energy has 30 days to fix light with wiring underground
Contact GPPCA if repairs are not done on time!
