Claude and Cathy Jenet purchased their home in 1984. Before moving to St. Pete they lived in a condo in Tierra Verde. Three years later, they purchased a thirty-six foot SeaRay pleasure/sport boat.
They began to break space within the interior…making the living room smaller and increasing the size of the master bedroom as well as other areas of the home. After the loss of her husband, Claude, in the spirit of chance, Cathy remodeled the home once again. Kathy sees the change as a continuum to be carried on to infinity.
The exterior of the house was recently painted …with the help of her son who arrived for a visit from Ohio. The pool has been refurbished as well as landscaping around the pool with greater emphasis on hibiscus. Cathy trimmed some of the trees in front of the house and replanted the area with grass. Cathy finds yard work activities to be healthy and therapeutic. Cathy’s son helped with some of the tasks/projects, on his recent visit. He also shares in her passion to maintain a beautiful home in which to live.
Cathy tells me that she has slowly moved away from the jungle-like affect that Claude loved but has kept and maintained the plants that were his favorite. Cathy is moving toward a more open space look of this corner property with a simple and a more efficient maintenance of the property.
Congratulations, Cathy on this well deserved award!!!
