The Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO),
the City of St. Petersburg, and the
Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invite you to a presentation.
The Results of the
54TH AVENUE S TRAFFIC STUDY
Background: In 2006, at the request of the City of St. Petersburg, a transportation study was conducted on a segment of 54th Avenue S. that runs from 28th Street to 41st Street. The study looked at the safety issues and other transportation needs of motorists, pedestrians, transit users and bicyclists. Public input was used to develop the recommendations for this study.
Representatives of your neighborhood association ( John Bagg and Milford Strong) attended a public meeting to provide your input into a traffic corridor study for 54th Avenue S. I wanted to let you know that the follow-up meeting to present the results of the traffic study is scheduled for April 5. We hope that members of your group will attend this meeting, also.
